A scrap of fabric, part of her mother’s old fur coat, some hair from the kids, a coat hanger, some plaster and paint. The first Byers’ Choice Carolers were made with simple things that Joyce Byers had around the house. The unique appearance and handcrafted quality of the Carolers quickly gained a following.

Every Caroler is created in the Byers’ Choice workshop by the loving hands of a team of skilled artisans. Together, the family now oversees a team of 180 artisans in Pennsylvania who handcraft those same creations that started out on Joyce Byers’ dining room table many years ago.
